Ultimately, we want to make CHEO more inclusive and culturally safe for children, youth, their families and caregivers.
Watch to learn more!
Voici Angela, la toute première spécialiste de la mobilisation autochtone au CHEO.
Angela dirige le travail du CHEO visant à aider les membres du personnel de soutien et l’équipe médicale à écouter, à apprendre et à établir des liens plus solides avec les Premières Nations, ainsi qu’avec les personnes inuites et métisses.
Notre objectif ultime est de rendre le CHEO plus inclusif, tout en offrant aux enfants, aux jeunes, aux familles et aux prestataires de soins un environnement adapté à la culture.

    I got knee surgery so I've also not been able to put any weight on my left leg. After 12 days of laying in bed and being extremely restless I decided to go for a walk and damn it humbled me. I "walked" for about 1.5km (0.9 miles) and had to stop multiple times cuz I was totally out of breath and exhausted. My chest, shoulders and arms were just fried when I got home 😂

    • @JadeyMcWadey123
      @JadeyMcWadey123 Місяць тому

      @errantesagnus3839 For the first 5 months I couldn't bend over or turn my neck or sit on a chair with a backrest at all but now it's Been two years and I can kind of bend but it's sort of limited, you can't bend at ur spine but you can bend at ur hips. I'm so much taller and one of the things you is that for a few years, you'll need to go in and take x-rays every 6 months It also hurts like hell when you wake up the next day from your surgery but you have a button that you press however many times you want and it gives you medicine.

    Adult here. Been to both US VA sleep labs for all paranoias and eeg labs epilepsy. VA and UC Davis neurologists cannot decide which i have. But UCD neurologist wants to treat me for parasomia and epilepsy. I had my dna privately tested: positive for both narcolepsy and epilepsy genes - more narcolepsy SNPs. But who knows? This is exactly the type of video info I am looking for.
